AIRPLAY NIGHTMARES : DAVIDO, D'BANJ AND WIZKID MUSIC BANNED

They have been on the limelight and no doubt they have been making alot of cash through their music until when their names were listed as broadcast unfriendly by Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation. Also listed were, Iyanya among others.
Some of the reasons highlighted for banning the musicians’ hits are: obscenity, promotion of violence, drug trafficking, vulgar lyrics and indecent exposure.

The corporation banned a list of songs which it deemed ‘broadcast-unfriendly’, and the tops acts have not been spared.
Below is the list of some of the banned songs
